当研究室では、日常の医療現場で生じる多様な薬物治療上の課題に対し、薬剤師の視点から創造的に課題解決を行う研究活動を重視しています。とくに、薬物動態学的解析を基盤として以下の具体的テーマに取り組んでいます。
Pharmacy practice integrates the pharmaceutical sciences with the professional roles of pharmacists. We are mainly focusing on solving the pharmacotherapy-related problems encountered by pharmacists through a pharmacokinetic approach. In particular, we are working on the following specific themes:
薬物療法の個別化推進 / Promotion of individualized pharmacotherapy:
治療薬物モニタリング（TDM）における母集団薬物動態パラメータの柔軟な運用と少数採血デザインによって、多様な患者背景にも対応可能な新たな個別投与設計法の開発を目指します。
We aim to develop new individualized dosing strategies that can accommodate diverse patient backgrounds by flexibly applying population pharmacokinetic parameters and utilizing sparse sampling designs in therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).
先天性心疾患患児における薬物動態変動機構の解明 / Elucidation of mechanisms underlying pharmacokinetic variability in children with congenital heart disease:
循環動態異常を有する患者において観察される薬物の吸収・分布の変動を実験的に再現するとともに、その機序解明に取り組んでいます。
We experimentally reproduce the variability in drug absorption and distribution observed in patients with circulatory abnormalities and investigate the underlying mechanisms.
数理解析に基づく個別投与法の確立 / Establishment of individualized dosing methods based on mathematical analysis:
発達や病態リスクを考慮した数理モデルを用いて、薬物効果の予測と最適化を進めています。（数理医薬評価学研究室 原朱音先生との共同研究）
We advance the prediction and optimization of drug effects using mathematical models that take into account developmental and disease-related risks. (In collaboration with Dr. Akane Hara)
2. Education
教育面では、「臨床に活きる薬学」をモットーに掲げ、互いに学び合う場を通じて課題発見・解決能力を養うことを大切にしています。学部教育では薬物動態学（3年次）、臨床薬物動態学（6年次）の担当に加え、5年次生の病院実務実習指導も一部担当しています。また当研究室は、米国・南カリフォルニア大学（USC）との国際学生交流プログラムの学内アレンジを担当しており、国際的な視野を持つ薬剤師・研究者の育成にも貢献しています。さらに、卒後教育の一環として、地域薬剤師のリカレント教育プログラムや臨床研究支援を通じて、現場で活躍する薬剤師が研究課題を発見し、創造的に解決する力を養う場を提供するなど、学部教育の枠を超えた新たな役割を担っています。
In undergraduate education, we teach Pharmacokinetics (3rd year) and Clinical Pharmacokinetics (6th year), and also supervise part of the 5th-year hospital practice. We are additionally involved in an international student exchange program with the University of Southern California (USC), contributing to the development of pharmacists and researchers with a global perspective.
As part of postgraduate education, we also focus on educational research including recurrent programs aiming at fostering special pharmacist in terms of both clinical inference skills and ability to get things done. It will support providing pharmaceutical care service and research activities by community pharmacists.
