The employment rate of graduates from University of Toyama is nearly 100% (not counting students going to graduate school). Our graduates enter a variety of workplace environments, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, pharmacies, research institutes, and governmental agencies across the country.
Of the students who graduated from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology in three years from 2016 to 2018, 91% entered graduate school. 72% of the graduates from the Masters course gained employment in pharmaceutical-related companies, while 19% went on to enter the Ph.D course.
Of the students who graduated from the Department of Pharmacy in three years from 2016 to 2018, 40% is employed to a hospital pharmacist, 31% is employed to a pharmacy pharmacist, and 8% is employed to the companies, while 5% went on to enter the Ph.D course.
