Laboratory of Applied Ethics

Under the banner of East-West intellectual integrity, we research and educate on humanism in pharmacy.

Our modern society can be said to have become in its own way convenient and comfortable, based on the rapid development of science and technology. However, as advanced research and development is extremely complicated and can’t be sufficiently foreseen, citizen's opinions and interests are variously opposed regarding how to proceed and spread it. For example, cloning technology that replicates organisms has achieved great results in the livestock industry, but applying it to human being is prohibited by laws. Such regal regulation is a realistic response to "ethical dilemmas" and are nothing more than an immediate framework designed as a social system. In our laboratory, we research international trends of "Applied Ethics", which is devoted to analysis and overcoming ethical dilemmas, especially in the fields of human life (medicine and health care), environment and information.
