

1Lecture and Practical Training Building
Most lectures and practical training are held here, as well as joint lectures with the Faculty of Medicine. The plaza in front of the building features cherry blossoms, azaleas, and other flowers that come into bloom throughout the year.

2Medical and Pharmaceutical Library
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing support for students’ research and studies. The collection includes plenty of books on medicine and pharmacy, as well as electronic journals.

3Welfare Building
The first floor of the Welfare Building features the bright and spacious student cafeteria, where students can choose from a broad selection of delicious, reasonably priced meals.
On the second floor, you’ll find a lounge and the University Coop.

4Experimental Station for Medicinal Plant Research
This station grows some 2,000 different medicinal plants, divided into ground and aquatic plants, trees, and greenhouses (including a tropical/subtropical greenhouse), making it one of the leading such stations nationwide. It is opened to the public in spring and autumn, as well.

5School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Building
This research building is used for cutting-edge pharmacy research. Starting in their fourth year, students are assigned to research labs, where they work on their graduation research.

6Museum of Pharmaceutical Science
Home to the long history of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

7Museum of Materia Medica, Institute of Natural Medicine
Preserves and displays research materials, such as traditional medicines and natural medicine samples from peoples around the world, earning it high acclaim both domestically and internationally.

8University Hospital
Provides practical training and other assistance for the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The hospital also features a post office, an ATM, a café, and a convenience store.

9Gateposts for the Former Toyama College of Pharmacy
The gatepost shown on the left dates back to 1910, while the one on the right is from 1929. They stand as a testament to the history of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
